Telescoping Hood/Deck Prop
With two open height positions! This telescoping hood prop is intended for cars with lighter, one piece hoods or for fiberglass or sedan deck lids. It has an aluminum rod, tube and brackets with stainless steel hardware - so it's rust proof. Lift the hood and turn the catch pin approximately 1/8 turn into one of two catch positions. Three position brackets and a threaded spherical rod end for adjustment. Designed for firewall mounting of the lower bracket. Approximately 14-1/2" c-c long when closed, 19-1/4" c-c half open and 24-1/4" c-c fully opened. |

Prop that hood with our attractive, all metal assembly. This universal kit is intended for '37 and later models with one piece hoods but can be fitted to many applications. Aluminum rod and brackets with stainless steel quick release pin and hardware assures a solid product with positive locking in the up or down positions - so it's wind proof and rust proof. Use in place of weak, bulky or missing springs or to increase your hood opening for easier access. Very attractive satin finish, approximately 24-3/4" center-to-center. |
