Trunk Lid Latch

We've seen this neat little latch showing up on some of the most eye-catching rods. Cable release ready receiver measures 2-3/8" x 3-5/16" wide. The spring loaded stud is 2-3/4" long, overall, and the adjustable spring loading helps to pop the trunk lid up. The latch has a built-in safety feature requiring cable tension for the latch to close. The finish is zinc yellow chromate. You'll have to fabricate brackets/supports for attaching both pieces but we know you can do it!

Trunk/Hood Latch and Striker

This little beauty is called a Rotary Claw Latch. It's spring loaded, "slams" shut just like a bear claw latch and can be used in a variety of applications like trunks and hoods. It is 1.8" high from the mounting surface to the top, 1.25" from the mounting surface to the striker center and the attachment holes are 3.25" center-to-center. The finish is zinc yellow chromate. Latch has cable release mechanism below the mounting surface. Striker included.

Deck Lid/Trunk Latch

We ran across this compact little latch and knew that some of you would need it. The main rectangular part of its body measures 2" x 2-5/8" x 5/8" thick (total maximum thickness is 1-1/8") and has two through holes for mounting. The white arm is a cable pull release. Our gear motor actuator #L29 will work this latch, if you want to go electric.

Hood Safety Catches

If you've changed the latch on your hood, make sure that you have a Hood Safety Catch! We now have 2 compact units, both measure 1-1/2" wide x 2" deep x 3-3/4" tall and mount with a single bolt or screw. Install it hook up or down so it will catch on a horizontal edge. Vinyl coated, black. An additional bracket may be needed for your specific application.
