PanelTech TM Fuse PanelsFor the Do-it-Yourselfer
For the Street Rod/VW/Kit Car person who wants a straight forward panel or add-on. Each panel has a "double" feed - one for battery circuits and one for ignition circuits. For ATO/ATC type fuses or plug-in circuit breakers, inputs go to 10-32 studs, outputs are .25" quick connect terminals, four mounting holes (for #10 screws). Only 13/16" thick and 3-3/8" wide by the length listed. Rated 30 amps/circuit, 150 amps total. Panels are split battery/ignition as follows:
Hey, Guys - if you need to add a few circuits for all of the "extras" that you've installed, this Power Tap Fuse Block is the hot ticket. It has a 14 gauge x 24" long power input lead with ring terminal that feeds all 6 circuits. Rated 30 amps max per fuse and 80 amps total load. Each circuit has a spade screw output and the terminals are provided, as well as the mounting screws. Overall dimensions are 4-7/8" long x 1-3/8" wide and 2-1/4" high including the protective dust cap. For ATO/ATC type fuses. It just doesn't get much easier or better looking than this.
Similar to the Power Tap, above, but with each fuse circuit fed separately. Rated 30 amps max per fuse. Bottom blade input and output and the terminals are provided, as well as the mounting screws. Overall dimensions are: 4 fuse = 2-1/2" long x 1" wide x 2-1/4" high, 6 fuse = 3-3/8" long x 1" wide x 2-1/4" high including the protective dust cap. For ATO/ATC type fuses.
Rod-Bits: Completely rewiring a car, or even just doing a smaller wiring upgrade or addition, can be a daunting challenge for all but the experienced professional. I have said for years that there are three "jobs" that the typical street rodder, restorer, customizer, etc. will farm out to a professional - paint, upholstery and electrical. But the fact of the matter is that there is only one reason not to do your own electrical, and that is fear from not knowing or not being confident. That's where we come in with support and knowledge to get you through the job and get it done right. The Modular Wiring Kits that we carry from American Autowire are the most complete kits with great instructions backed up by both our and American Autowire's extensive experience. So whether you need a full 22-circuit kit or a simple 4-fuse add-on or something in between, we can provide the parts and support you need. Don't be afraid of electricity. Learn it and do it - we'll help. |
